Journal of Medical Physiology (JMP) is an international, peer-reviewed, online open-access journal published by Iran University of Medical Sciences. JMP focuses on basic sciences and clinical aspects of human physiology. The journal publishes original articles, reviews, brief reports, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, case reports, and letters to the Editor. Coverage reaches all fields of physiology, encompassing molecular, cellular, and systems physiology. This journal adheres to all recommendations and guidelines of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
